It's amazing how disgusting most of Amsterdam's hostels seem to be. Over priced and under performing they all around suck.

Sounds like the rest of the stay was great though...that concert and the attendees sound like they added a pretty cool element to the experience.

Yet another tribute to why it pays to just go with the flow and not have a rigid itinerary. Drifting wherever the winds blow with a smile on your face. Sounds like those trains/buses were a bit rough...what an adventure though! Glad you didn't have to do any swimming =p

Watching Taken with a large group of girls while hosteling across Europe...priceless. Definitely an entertaining movie, despite it being little more than /neck chop, /groin punch, /neck chop, /groin punch.

Dear David, I am a niece from Dale's first marriage and have very loving memories of Dale as being larger than life and I too remember strong hugs and huge smiles. We will always remember the best of this special man.
